#75 is particularly special to me since he’s our neighbor, Karge. I admire him and Nichole so much for everything they’ve been through. They are true survivors!  Like Nichole said, the accident used to define them, but now God does. It’s truly a miracle he survived! This was his jeep:

Karge wrote a book about his experience – it’s called “Bridges Don’t Fall Down: Stories from the I35W Bridge Collapse” – you can purchase your copy here. btw….their son (“little man”) is just the sweetest kid! I tell Nichole all the time that he should be doing voice-overs for TV or cartoons – he’s got the cutest little voice! It needs to be bottled up and saved forever! Love you guys and I feel so blessed we’re neighbors!  :-)

The answer is absolutely NOT! The best way to “detoxify yourself” and get rid of the “toxins” in your body is to eat a healthy, balanced diet, exercise regularly and your BODY will do the rest. That’s why you have a liver and kidneys – let them do their job!  :-)

There aren’t undigested pieces of meat hanging around in your colon for 5 years – and you do NOT need to take a laxative or an enema to get rid of it. There aren’t scary foreign “toxins” floating around your body that are going to magically be sucked up by some expensive pill you take. Do not believe everything people tell you – especially when it comes from someone of questionable medical background. And the people that are telling you to “detox” yourself are usually the ones laughing all the way to the bank! Those diets and supplements are not cheap!!

Along the same lines (sort of), you wouldn’t believe how many women come and ask for a douche after their period too – same thing! Your body is designed to cleanse itself. Anyway, in my opinion I’d save your money and spend it on something other than detox diets, laxatives, enemas and douches. Maybe a pedicure or a cute new outfit?   ;-)

And really inexpensive too!  I love this little bikini too!  I’m really into fabric flowers lately – can’t get enough!
